The cause
Cancer doesn't skip the dance world.
Dancers Against Cancer is a nonprofit whose mission is to create an alliance in the dance community that provides financial support and inspiration to dance educators, choreographers, dancers and their families who have been impacted by cancer.
That help is direct and practical — medical bills and living expenses, for the people the dance world already knows. More than a decade in, they're the reason the dance world gathers each year for the Industry Dance Awards and the Gala of the Stars, and why dance studios sign on as Hope Studios. They're in Los Alamitos, a few minutes up the road from where we pack every order in Long Beach.

Does the Pink Handle Edition cost more?
No. It's $149 or $199 — exactly the price of the original. The $15 or $20 comes out of Dancing Disc's side, not yours.
Is it the same disc as the original?
Yes. Same real Marley surface, same premium wood core, same non-slip rubber base, same 1-inch profile. The only difference is the handle: Dancing Disc pink instead of black.
What does Dancers Against Cancer do?
They give direct financial help — medical bills, rent, groceries — to dance teachers, choreographers, dancers and their families going through a cancer diagnosis. They're a nonprofit based in Los Alamitos, California, and they've been doing this for more than a decade.
Can I use a discount code on it?
No — this edition doesn't take codes, and here's why. The $15 or $20 is set on the full price. A 15% code on a 30" would take $30 off, more than the disc gives, and we'd rather the number on the tag stay true than run promotions on a disc that's already doing something. If you want a code, the original disc takes them.
Does the donation apply on Amazon or Etsy?
No. It only runs on DancingDisc.com. Marketplaces can't track it and Amazon restricts charity claims in listings, so the Pink Handle Edition — and the gift that goes with it — lives here only.
How do I know the money was donated?
Two ways. Funds go to Dancers Against Cancer at least every 90 days, with a written record of every transfer. And we count only discs that ship and stay — a return inside the 30-day window comes off the count. This edition launched in September 2026, so give it a few months to add up; we'll post an update here once it has.
Is the donation tax-deductible for me?
No. The donation is made by Dancing Disc, so it isn't deductible on your return. If you'd like to give in your own name — and get your own receipt — you can donate directly to Dancers Against Cancer.
