Why the handle is pink
A simple choice that supports a powerful cause. Shocking pink has been Dancing Disc's color since the very first disc — it's on the sticker of every one we've ever shipped. On this edition it moves to the handle, so you can tell at a glance which disc gives, and so can everyone at the studio.
Dancers Against Cancer helps dance families through any cancer diagnosis, in any month of the year. So does this disc: same disc, same price, no end date. Same seatbelt-style handle, same loop, same stitching. Just pink.
The cause
Dancers Against Cancer is a nonprofit whose mission is to create an alliance in the dance community that provides financial support and inspiration to dance educators, choreographers, dancers and their families who have been impacted by cancer.
That help is direct and practical — medical bills and living expenses, for the people the dance world already knows. More than a decade in, they're the reason the dance world gathers each year for the Industry Dance Awards and the Gala of the Stars, and why dance studios sign on as Hope Studios. They're in Los Alamitos, a few minutes up the road from where we pack every order in Long Beach.
Together, we can make a difference
Dancers Against Cancer sends money straight to the people who need it — medical bills, rent, groceries — when someone in the dance world is diagnosed.
What every disc gives
The same share on every size. And the price is the price: you pay what the original costs; the gift comes out of our side.
The promise
Most cause campaigns hide a cap in the fine print. We're doing the opposite: no ceiling, no end date, and the amount right on the price tag — from the very first disc.
Funds go to Dancers Against Cancer at least every 90 days, with a written record of every transfer.
Dancers Against Cancer · 501(c)(3) nonprofit · EIN 47-1558076 · 11132 Winners Circle, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. The donation is made by Dancing Disc, so it isn't tax-deductible on your return. Built to the New York Attorney General's guidance on transparent cause marketing. This edition doesn't take discount codes, so the number on the tag stays true.
“She can get turn practice in front of the TV or slip on her pointe shoes in the kitchen—she can literally practice anywhere!”

Good to know
No. It's $149 or $199 — exactly the price of the original. The $15 or $20 comes out of Dancing Disc's side, not yours.
Yes. Same real Marley surface, same premium wood core, same non-slip rubber base, same 1-inch profile. The only difference is the handle: Dancing Disc pink instead of black.
They give direct financial help — medical bills, rent, groceries — to dance teachers, choreographers, dancers and their families going through a cancer diagnosis. They're a nonprofit based in Los Alamitos, California, and they've been doing this for more than a decade.
No — this edition doesn't take codes, and here's why. The $15 or $20 is set on the full price. A 15% code on a 30" would take $30 off, more than the disc gives, and we'd rather the number on the tag stay true than run promotions on a disc that's already doing something. If you want a code, the original disc takes them.
No. It only runs on DancingDisc.com. Marketplaces can't track it and Amazon restricts charity claims in listings, so the Pink Handle Edition — and the gift that goes with it — lives here only.
Two ways. Funds go to Dancers Against Cancer at least every 90 days, with a written record of every transfer. And we count only discs that ship and stay — a return inside the 30-day window comes off the count. This edition launched in September 2026, so give it a few months to add up; we'll post an update here once it has.
No. The donation is made by Dancing Disc, so it isn't deductible on your return. If you'd like to give in your own name — and get your own receipt — you can donate directly to Dancers Against Cancer.
Yes — directly to Dancers Against Cancer. And if your dancer already has a disc she loves, give there instead of buying another one. That's the better gift.
Pink handle. Powerful purpose.
